The right lubricant improves the performance of your gearboxes and gears

The sliding and rolling action present in straight-tooth, helical, worm, bevel, or hypoid gears presents several issues that are completely different from the lubrication of ball or roller bearings. In gear motors, the main objective of the lubricant is to ensure tenacious and homogeneous lubrication on all sliding parts, minimizing wear, noise, operating temperatures, and starting torque. Synthetic greases specifically formulated for this use can replace oils with improved sealing action and savings on machining and seals.Environmental conditions and operating temperatures are important factors to consider.
