Silicone lubricants offer the following advantages: high power sliding, heat resistance, high thermal conductivity, low sensitivity to temperature variations, wide temperature range of use, long life and excellent compatibility with plastics and elastomers. Fluid silicones are available from a viscosity of 50 cSt. up to 1 million cSt. The greases with various viscosity in the base fluid can be thickened with silicate, lithium or PTFE in such a way as to vary resistance to loads, lubricants and gliding properties in a temperature range from -70°C to + 200°C. A complete range of products able to meet the various application requirements is readily available.
