DRY ANTIFRICTION COATING

Dry lubricants constitute a valid alternative to traditional ones when the presence of oil is not desirable. They are formulated with a blend of solid lubricant powders, various additives conveyed in water. They are safe for the operator as they contain no solvents, polymerize and dry in air at different times, depending on the application required. The lubricant adheres to the surface and, depending on the amount and chemical nature of the product, coloured films (from transparent to black), thicknesses and different characteristics are obtained. They are normally used to reduce noise, facilitate the assembly of plastic, metal and skin components and elastomers.
