GREASES FOR ELECTRICAL CONTACTS

Electrical contacts cover an extremely wide field of application where the component’s functionality, lifecycle durability and performance must be secured. Special, thin, low residue, lubricating films are therefore used to protect against oxidation, prevent wear from “fretting corrosion” and improve flow in the circuit by reducing the coupling strength in multi-connector pins with a wide range of use. The main applications can be summarized in: distribution panels or switches, sliding contacts where  friction and mechanical wear occur, electrical connections and applications with an electric arc.
